A Jamaican lady identified as @In1ko on Twitter has revealed the response she got from her dad after informing him she had no gender.
She disclosed that she called him to tell him about being ‘genderless’ and how she came to such a conclusion about herself.
His response was heartwarming as he made it clear that he was blessed to have children whose existence stretches beyond the world.
He went further to encourage her, adding that she would eventually understand herself.
In her words:
“I called my dad to tell him about being genderless and how I came to this conclusion about myself and he said “I am blessed to have children whose existence stretches beyond this realm” and I just want to say that if a 60-year-old Jamaican Rastafarian can get it, so can you.”
Reacting to this post, derjarman wrote: “Came out to my Jamaican dad and at first he was upset but after the initial shock he became one of my biggest supports. I feel like he loves my wife more than me sometimes.”
Cc92lee said: “You not genderless just confused cause of modern society.”
Vagueenthusiast added: “My distracted professor dad said almost the exact same thing to me once, I love dads who surprise you with this kind of warmth.”
